Once Upon a Wildwood puts a Fablecraft twist on classic fairytale tropes. Our ‘hag’ character is a ‘Handsome Alchemist Gentleman,’ the Stepmother is a badass woman who cares for lost forest children, and our frog prince does not, in fact, save the day (but he does exist!). This adventure was a ton of fun to create and write – there are few things I enjoy more than subverting a genre to deliver something fresh.
